How may we help you?

Traveling to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard is easy with us! One-on-one assistance is available for those in need who are traveling with Hy-Line. Every situation is unique, if you or your travel companion requires help with boarding, please visit our Special Assistance section.

Traveling with Children

We see lots and lots of families each season. Our ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard can take 1-2 hours, which can be long for some of our younger friends. Lots of children love to explore the ferries while underway and we strongly encourage you to accompany your children, keeping an eye on them while they explore. If they have any questions about the ferry or Cape Cod and the Islands, a crewmember will be nearby to answer any questions your little sponge may have. Many children also enjoy books or games while traveling on the ferries. In addition, we advise allowing ample time in advance of your scheduled departure for parking, ticketing and boarding. Traveling with your family can be overwhelming with luggage and carry-ons for the little ones; let us know what we can do to help!

Traveling with Pets

Pets are allowed on board all of our island-bound ferries, except in the Captain’s View section of our Nantucket high-speed ferry Grey Lady IV. There is no fee, however they must be properly leashed/caged and are not allowed on the furniture.
